Refund policy

This Return & Refund Policy forms part of the Terms of Service of Green Watt Energy Solutions (PTY) Ltd (“we,” “our,” “us”). By purchasing from us, you agree to the following conditions:


1. Returns

  • Products may only be returned within 7 (seven) calendar days of purchase.

  • Returned goods must be:

    • Unopened, unused, and in their original packaging;

    • With all warranty seals intact;

    • In a condition suitable for resale.

  • Installed, scratched, damaged, tampered with, or altered products will not be accepted.

  • All returns are subject to inspection and approval at our discretion before acceptance.

  • Customers are responsible for all costs associated with returning goods.


2. Refunds

  • Refunds will only be processed once returned goods have passed inspection and are confirmed to meet return requirements.

  • Refunds are made via the original payment method only; no cash refunds will be issued.

  • Refund processing may take 7–14 working days from the date of approval.

  • We reserve the right to deduct any applicable handling, restocking, or packaging fees from the refund amount.


3. Cancellations

  • Orders cancelled within 48 hours of placement will not incur penalties (provided goods have not already been dispatched).

  • Orders cancelled after 48 hours are subject to a minimum 10% cancellation fee, provided that the goods are unused, sealed, and in saleable condition.

  • If the goods have already been dispatched or collected, the return conditions above will apply instead of cancellation.


4. Warranty

  • All goods supplied are covered strictly by the manufacturer’s warranty only.

  • We act solely as a facilitator of warranty claims with the manufacturer and cannot guarantee the outcome of such claims.

  • Warranties are void if:

    • Installation is not carried out by a qualified professional;

    • Manufacturer specifications or guidelines are not followed;

    • Damage occurs due to power surges, negligence, misuse, improper installation, or unauthorised modifications.

  • All warranty claims must be accompanied by valid proof of purchase.

  • Transport, removal, reinstallation, and shipping costs for warranty claims are for the customer’s account.


5. Exclusions

The following are not eligible for return, refund, or warranty claim:

  • Special-order or custom products.

  • Clearance or sale items.

  • Products showing signs of misuse, alteration, or unauthorised repair.
